IJN Akagi, the most famous fleet aircraft carrier of Imperial Japanese Navy during WW2, was known as "the Queen of Japanese flattops" when she served as the flagship of the First Air Fleet which participated in the most well-known historic events such as Pearl Harbor Attack and the Battle of Midway.
