Wargame example: both the USN and IJN carrier strike groups are launching waves of aircrafts to attack each other, in a tabletop wargame simulating the Battle of the Coral Sea. Note that CV-2 Lexington still has more aircrafts to launch on her deck.
For fans of WW2 history and naval battle wargames:
The Battle of the Coral Sea, from 4 to 8 May 1942, was a major naval battle between the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) and naval and air forces of the United States and Australia. Taking place in the Pacific Theatre of World War II, the battle is historically significant as the first action in which aircraft carriers engaged each other and the first in which the opposing ships neither sighted nor fired directly upon one another.
Several fleet movement diagrams are included herein for fans of WW2 history and naval wargames. The diagrams are copies from the book "The Coral Sea 1942, the first carrier battle" (by Mark Stille, ISBN 978-1-84603-440-4).
